OtheR DRESS is a platform that showcases the work of carefully selected designers of unconventional clothing and accessories, as well as a variety of other associated events.

How did the idea of this kind of shows come about?

This year is the sixth year of the event and it is an annual presentation for the general public. It is the symbolic tip of the iceberg of the systematic activity of the OtheR DRESS project, which creates a platform for independent fashion designers engaged in non-traditional creation in the broadest sense of the word. It can be the use and combination of unusual materials and their processing, as well as non-standard and original designs and models or unique concepts combining both.

The inspiration was the fact that in our country there are very interesting, but unfortunately not very well-known, artists whose work, with its originality and craftsmanship, can withstand comparison with the world's great names in the field, even perhaps surpassing established brands. I would like to bring the work of these artists, who are out of the average and do not belong to the mainstream, to as many people as possible.

What is this year's theme?

Each OtheR DRESS show has a unifying theme, in the past it has been "The Mask of the Red Death", "Carnival", "Jungle" or "Paradise". The individual designers have unlimited room for their own take on the chosen theme and prepare their models for the show independently.

The theme of this year's show, which will take place on 22 April 2023 in the new Spojka Events premises, is ART&FETISH.
