Queer Ball is a semi-formal ball that revives the queer scene in Prague and Brno. Its purpose is to provide social entertainment for people so that they do not feel constrained by society's intolerant perceptions or prejudices based on their sexual orientation or identity.
Queer Ball is organized by STUD, z.s. - an independent, non-profit, non-governmental organization whose mission is to work on behalf of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender minority and to strive for their full legal and factual equality with other members of society. The association has been active in the Czech Republic since 1996.
